Perforated Twinwall Pipe

Perforated pipes, also referred to as filter drains, are pipes with a series of holes cut inside the corrugations of the pipe. We offer perforated twinwall pipe in diameters from 150mm up to 600mm, as well as larger sizes of Twinwall Pipe for large-scale projects - please contact us for more information, to submit technical drawings, or to place an order.

Perforated twinwall pipe serves as a conduit for gathering rainwater from waterlogged or inundated zones, directing it towards either a storm drain or typically a natural waterway like a stream. Surrounding soil moisture infiltrates the pipe through minute perforations, channelling it through the smooth internal bore for efficient evacuation.

Crafted from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), perforated twinwall drainage systems offer a robust solution for various projects - whether in highway construction, land reclamation, or agricultural drainage, these systems provide a dependable means to mitigate water-related challenges, embodying the cornerstone of modern engineering practices.

Twinwall Pipe vs Land Drain

Both these pipes have similar uses, but it's much more common for land drains to be used for smaller scale installations such as a garden renovation. Twinwall pipes are larger, more robust and able to withstand heavier loads, hence why they're mostly used in agriculture and highways projects, on a much larger scale.
