Vented Soffit Boards - 10mm
We sell Vented Soffit which complies with UK Building Regulations by providing the equivalent ventilation of continuous a 10mm wide air gap, this is the requirement for roofs with a 30° pitch and over. These UPVC Soffit boards bridge the gap between the wall and the rear facing side of the fascia board effectively closing it off whilst also allowing air access to the loft space to prevent condensation build up. We can also supply double-vented soffits for very low pitched or flat roofs - please contact us for further details.
Even where vapour permeable underlays have been used instead of bitumen based roof felts it is still likely that the amount of moisture carried into the roof space will exceed that which the underlay can deal with at certain times in the year, this could result in damp insulation so our Vented Soffit is an excellent solution for the eaves venting.
