Stakkabox Access Chambers

Available in two size options, the BT quad box is built using 150mm deep sections stacked on top of each other until the required depth is reached. Available in the 104 standard (915mm x 445mm clear opening) and 106 standard (1310 x 610mm clear opening) sizes, the quad box is the only modular access chamber approved for use on BT Openreach networks.

The modular design makes this system ideal for overbuilding on existing ducted networks or old chambers needing replacement, providing contractors with a means of constructing access chambers quickly and inexpensively whilst offering improved build quality, reduced defects and enhanced site safety performance. The sections can be cut to fit around existing cable networks or system obstacles, and BT chambers can also be benched to avoid existing services.

Depending on the manufacturer, the quad box chamber's sections can be either black or grey, but regardless of colour, they are physically identical. In order to reach the appropriate height, subsequent 150mm parts are stacked immediately on top of the first 150mm section, which is set on top of a concrete or Type 1 base. The BT chamber parts have guidelines incorporated in to help determine the proper drilling locations, guaranteeing proper duct spacing.
