How To Fit Ceiling Cladding
If you need help with installing PVC ceiling cladding, then look no further – in this article we’ll outline the basic steps you need to take to create a seamless ceiling cladding installation!
How to install ceiling cladding
To install your PVC ceiling panels, follow these steps:
- First, measure the total area of the ceiling so that you can figure out how many cladding boards you will need.
- Use a pencil to mark on the boards where you will need to cut them.
- Cut your cladding boards where you have marked. If you’re using a handsaw, you will need to cut with the decorative side facing up; if you’re using a jigsaw, cut the boards with the decorative side facing down.
- Measure and cut away any areas where your ceiling lights will need space. Do this by measuring the diameter of the light fixture and using a circular saw to cut the panels as needed.
- Apply your adhesive to the back of the cladding panels in a zig-zag pattern and affix them to the ceiling.
- Finally, install the finishing trims – you can view how to do this in our full installation guide.
And just like that, your ceiling will be looking brand new with our PVC panelling!
