How To Clean Ceiling Cladding
Cleaning the ceiling is most likely far down on the list of household priorities, but if you’ve got PVC ceiling panels it’s important to keep them clean, particularly in rooms with higher humidity like bathrooms and kitchens. In this quick article, we’ll outline the ways in which you can keep your ceiling cladding looking good as new!
How to clean PVC ceiling panels
Our PVC ceiling panels are resistant to both stains and bacteria, meaning that they do not need to undergo regular or extensive cleaning. The main thing to watch out for is the usual wear and tear that may accumulate on ceilings such as dust and spiderwebs – you can clean this up as you would on any other ceiling.
You should also be mindful of the cladding in rooms that can get warm and damp, like bathrooms. Here, condensation may form on the ceiling, causing water spots when the water dries. To prevent this, you can give the ceiling a simple wipe when you see the condensation forming, or if you spot water marks, then either wash with warm soapy water and towel dry or spray the cladding with a mild household cleaner and wipe down.
It is also a good idea to keep bathroom windows open, especially after a hot bath or shower in order to minimise condensation build up.
