How To Spring Clean Your Gutters
PVC Guttering is easy to keep clean. All that is required is a twice yearly wipe down with a soft cloth and soapy water, or a proprietary PVC cleaner. Take care though as abrasive household cleaners will damage the surface of material and cause scratches which will retain dirt and look unsightly.

To spring clean your gutters, you don’t need any specialist tools. All you require is a bucket of soapy water, a pair of gloves, an old gardening trail and some old cloths.
- Firstly, remove all of the leaves, moss and dirt that’s built up in your gutters over the winter. You can use an old gardening trail to do this.
- A build-up of leaves tend to occur near the running outlet, so make sure you remove them to improve the efficiency of your gutters. If you have a leaf filter, remove it and empty the contents.
- To clean the outside of your gutters, all you needs is some soapy water and a cloth. Do not use any abrasive cleaners, as these may scratch the surface of your gutters.
