Spring Toggles

Spring toggles are popular cavity fixings that feature spring-loaded wings that will spring open on the other side of the wall that is being screwed into, gripping the wall and creating a strong and secure fixing. We offer spring toggles with pan head pozidrive screws included but any other screw with the same thread size as the screw supplied may also be used if required.

Our spring toggles are made from bright zinc plated steel and are available in three sizes.

Speed Plugs

Speedy metal plasterboard spiral plugs, also known as speed plugs, are used in conjunction with a self-tapping screw and screwdriver to screw directly into the wallboard in order to create a solid anchor.

Speed plugs are an easy to use fixing, start by offering the tip of the plug to the wall before using a pozidrive screwdriver on the head to screw the plug into the wall while applying pressure. When the lip of the speed plug is flush with the wall it is being screwed into, remove the screwdriver, then insert and screw in the self-tapping screw supplied to create a secure connection between the item being fastened and the speed plug.
