SOIL & WASTE PIPE SYSTEMS
Our Ring Seal Push-Fit 110mm System stands out as a top choice for soil and waste management across both residential and commercial sectors. Known for its high-gloss finish, this system seamlessly integrates with all BS Approved Drainage systems, ensuring straightforward installation.
We also carry a robust solvent weld system suitable for domestic and commercial applications. It boasts resistance to UV light, as well as most inorganic acids and alkalis. It can also withstand short discharges of boiling water, making it apt for domestic use. Our range extends to include push-fit waste, solvent weld waste, traps and WC pan connectors to meet various project needs.
COLOUR OPTIONS FOR SOIL AND WASTE SYSTEMS
Our Push-Fit Soil and Waste systems come in White, Black, Grey and Anthracite Grey shades, as well as a Cast Iron Effect finish.
For the Solvent Soil pipes and fittings, we offer Black and Olive Grey, a shade slightly darker than the standard Grey. Waste pipes are available in Black, White, and Grey across different sizes, as well as Anthracite Grey in our Solvent Weld Systems.
MATERIALS USED
Both our Ring Seal Soil Pipe and Solvent Weld Soil Pipe systems are crafted from durable PVC-U.
Our solvent weld waste systems use ABS Plastic. Air Admittance Valves are constructed from both PVC-U and ABS, while our push-fit waste, traps, and pan connectors are made of Polypropylene.
COMPATIBILITY WITH OTHER SYSTEMS
Our Soil and Waste System integrates seamlessly with our Underground Drainage System and can be linked to most systems complying with British/European Standards. For connections to Cast Iron and Clay Pipes, the SP140 adaptor is available
BRITISH STANDARD COMPLIANCE
Our Soil and Waste systems are crafted in accordance with British/European Standards, carrying the Kitemark. Additionally, they are produced under ISO 9001 certified procedures.
INSTALLATION GUIDELINES FOR SOIL AND WASTE PIPES
Begin the installation at ground level, progressing up the soil stack. Secure the plastic soil pipes or waste pipes using brackets at vertical intervals of 2m and horizontal intervals of 1m. For push-fit joints, apply silicon lubricant to ease the joint. Insert the pipe fully into the joint, withdrawing 10mm to accommodate potential expansion.
For solvent weld joints, ensure both pipe and fitting are clean and free of debris. Apply solvent weld to both surfaces, push together, and twist to ensure full contact. Wipe off excess solvent and allow the joint to set for five minutes. It's safe to handle after this time, but ideally, wait twelve hours before testing.
For external installations of ABS and Polypropylene waste pipes, protect with exterior gloss paint, a practice recommended for all such systems. PVC-U Soil and Waste Pipes need no additional protection.
